José Manuel Pureza



José Manuel Pureza holds a first degree in Law and a PhD in Sociology, both at the University of Coimbra. He is Full Professor at the School of Economics of the University of Coimbra. José Manuel Pureza has been of International Relations in the School of Economics of the same university, area in which he teaches since its creation in 1995. He is researcher at the Centre for Social Studies, where he streamlined the Peace Research Working Group. His research priorities include peace studies, humanitarianism as ideology and practice and the normative dimmension of international relations.
