OBIMID is a Network gathering research and higher education institutions working on public policies and human rights, human mobility, migrations and development, focusing especially on Iberoamerican contexts. The Network aims at producing and transferring scientific knowledge about these issues to contribute to a better understanding of contemporary migration.  

Património Histórico+Cultural Ibero-Americano (RED PHI)

The PHI project, Ibero-American Historic & Cultural Heritage, presents the development of an innovative global information system, based on the capabilities of the permanently updated university world. A useful, open and segmented system, according to the different foreseeable demands on the characteristics and the conditions of the properties identified as heritage. Its aim is to create a platform that allows to better understand the strategic value of Heritage and that allows for a more efficient management of this common legacy to activate its ability of planning the inhabited space.

PortugalParticipa - Portuguese Network of Participatory Municipalities (RAP)

RAP aims at promoting the participative democracy at local level, facilitating the exchange of experiences, expanding new citizen involvement mechanisms in public management of municipalities, empowering actors involved in participatory processes, maintaining an updated information system on the participatory democracy processes in the country, reinforcing a transparent public administration and promoting international cooperation with other networks and structures.

Portuguese Association of Political Economy

The Portuguese Association of Political Economy is a non-profit scientific association with a multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary nature, aiming at fostering education, research, dissemination and the public debate on Political Economy in Portugal.

Portuguese National Rural Network (RRN)

The Portuguese National Rural Network (RRN) is a connection hub of agents with an active role in the rural development, who are willing to share their experiences and knowledge, to improve their performance and achieve better results. Rural development agents from any region of the country can join RRN.  The network acts as an information, experience and knowledge dissemination and sharing platform, entailing an action to build up sharing and cooperation around the actions to implement, aiming at improving the implementation of rural development programmes and policy measures and the qualification of the agents implicated in rural development.

Rede de Estudos do Trabalho (RET)

RET aims at stimulating the collaboration and dissemination of the research groups' activities on labour in Brazil and abroad. RET adopts the principle of online dissemination of knowledge, disclosing the activities and production of researchers in the field of human sciences operating in the area of labour.

ABET network was founded in 1989, aiming at developing academic and scientific activities disseminating research results and promoting the debate on work-related issues in Brazil.

SDN is an international network of scholars and technicians, aiming at fostering social studies of science and technology. Its aim is to prospect democratic processes in the development, approach and use of science and technology.

Sexual Violence in Armed Conflict (SVAC)

Founded in October 2010, the International Research Group Sexual Violence in Armed Conflict (SVAC) addresses issues around sexual violence in armed conflict. In a series of meetings and workshops, interdisciplinary scholars and NGO-experts compare case studies from different theatres of war and conflict, including multifaceted theoretical approaches. The group thus promotes the systematic development of research questions and methods.
